The boat is in all around good condition, everything works, but in need of cosmetic TLC. Nearly all voyages have been in fresh water. Very comfortable and capable cruiser! This is a beautiful boat that was used on a “Great Loop” adventure during 2021/22, then sailed on Lake Champlain for the remainder of summer ’22. In 2023 the owner became ill and the boat has been on the hard since the fall of 2022.
Yanmar 27HP diesel, hours unknown, new water pump, regular oil changes, no issues.
All plumbing and electric systems are fully functional. Two new deep cycle batteries will be provided at time of sale.
Stainless steel port lights with screens.
Galley includes electric refrigerator/freezer, 3-burner gimbal stove, microwave, galley and head sinks with hot and cold water.
Heart 2,000 watt inverter for onboard AC power and battery charging
Electric anchor windlass.
CQR anchor with ground tackle.
Misc: bumpers, solar panel, dock lines, hoses, wheel cover, life jackets.
Custom boat cradle (can negotiate separate delivery).
New inflatable dinghy available at additional cost.
No air conditioning.

Electronics updated in 2020:
• NMEA 2000 backbone
• Garmin 12” GPSMAP8612xsv nav system
• Garmin GRID 20 vertical controller
• Garmin GMR fantom 18 radar
• Garmin VHF215 AIS radio
• Garmin GNX wind display
• Upgraded tri-color LED mast head light
• Auto-helm/Auto pilot
• Remote hand set at helm

Where TLC and maintenance is needed: bright work, interior wood work is good but ready for refinishing, bottom job would be a good near-future project. Sails are adequate and suitable for cruising but should be replaced for performance sailing.

Manufacturer Provided Description
Designed to be a well-mannered, firm and able sailing vessel, the 3500 delivers performance. Her moderate beam and powerful ends, linked with either the deep fin or the optional beavertail keel provide excellent stability and sail-carrying ability. The long waterline and strong rig offer fast passages and a competitive edge, while the contoured cockpit seats, wide coamings and pedestal steering ensure a skipper's comfort both at sea and dockside. Her frame has been well-engineered and constructed to save weight, yet remain sound. The hull is a balsa-cored sandwich structure with a vinylester barrier coat between NPG-ISO gelcoat and the hand-laid laminate. A cored deck and a bond-in-place grid structure produce a strength-to-weight ratio that makes her a high-performance, medium-displacement cruiser-racer. The pattern non-skid of her deck maximizes safety, comfort and function. Logical in layout, she has 2-foot wide side decks and inboard shrouds that afford easy passage both fore and aft, plus allow optimum sheeting angles for efficient upwind sailing. Mounted through solid glass and aluminum backing plates, her quality equipment is strategically placed for either cruising or racing pleasure. Leading all lines aft to a cockpit that is quite manageable by one, she features a low-stretch genoa and main halyard, Dacron genoa and main sheets, traveler tagline and reef lines. Down below, she is fully fitted for cruising comfort with good stowage and generous accommodations. Her interior is highlighted by Tartan's trademark teak joinery and hand rubbed oil finish while being suitably complemented by the pleasing aesthetics of her fine fabric selections. The voluminous curves coupled with the clever use of angular bulkheads enable her nav station to be tucked aft while providing plenty of room to stand and move about.
